This very traditional art form can be used to decorate cards, crowns and tiaras or make an artwork. Learn how to quill using colourful paper strips and make a beautiful art piece. Use your new found skill to make your next party invitations or birthday cards.

Whale-Inspired Decoupage Trays

Decorate a tray using the ancient art of decoupage. We’ll supply a wonderful array of coloured papers and pictures of whales and ocean scenes for you to use to create your unique design. The result should be both beautiful and practical.

Wonderful Whale Softies

Sewing is becoming a lost art. One hundred years ago nearly every girl and many boys learnt how to sew. In this activity we will teach you how to sew so you can make a gorgeous whale softie.

Hot Off the Press

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Create your own limited edition print, then join our resident printer to see how newspapers and fliers were printed in the 1800s. Finish the session by having the image you’ve created printed on the Examiner’s printing machine.
